Happy Wednesday & happy October!!! I'm up on the Rabbit Hole Designs blog today with this PINK card. This is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and while pretty pink things don't cure cancer, I do feel strongly that if 1 person get's them "squished" or does something to support someone going through cancer or makes a donation... then posting something pretty and pink is worth it!
For my card today I am using the new Back Alley stencil and the Fearless stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs.
This was a quick and simple card. First off I taped down a heart cut out "mask" and set it in place. Once that was done I set my Back Alley stencil in place and blended in some Victorian Velvet Distress Ink with a Cotton Tail Blending Brush.
With the background done, I removed the stencil and mask. I stamped the "Fearless" in a gray ink and the rest of the sentiment in Victorian Velvet just below it. The Ribbon was stamped in WOW! embossing ink and some WOW Tanzenite glitter. Finally I added a small smattering of sequins from the Flirty Flamingo mix over at Kat Scrappiness. This stencil was the perfect way to give me a great background that allowed my image and sentiments to still be the focus!
Thanks for popping by, hope to see you again soon!
